NISCSS President Wu Shicun met with Michael Vatikiotis

On 20 April 2016, NISCSS President Wu Shicun held a meeting with Michael Vatikiotis, the Asia regional director of the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue. The two sides exchanged ideas on various issues of common concern, including the main challenges to the situation in the South China Sea, crisis management and confidence building measures in the South China Sea as well as the role of the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue in facilitating a peaceful solution to regional disputes.

 

The Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue is a Geneva-based private foundation that is mainly designed to prevent international conflicts, manage crises and resolve disputes. Its purpose is to promote international peace by means of dialogue and reconciliation. It has regional offices in Nairobi and Singapore.
