NISCSS President Wu Shicun attended international conference in Washington, DC

On 1 December 2016, NISCSS President Wu Shicun attended an international conference entitled “Evaluating the stakes and preparing for sustainable peace in the South China Sea” in Washington, DC, and shared his views on the latest developments in the South China Sea and China-US maritime cooperation after the South China Sea arbitration.


This conference was co-organized by Kissinger Institute on China and the United States of Wilson Center, School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University, and the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at Seton Hall University.  It brought together scholars from the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Heritage Foundation, the Centre for Naval Analysis, the Center for a New American Security, Yale Law School, Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies of Renmin University of China, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, the Collaborative Innovation Center of South China Sea Studies at Nanjing University and Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.
