On June 25th, Dr. Wu Shicun attended the Conference “Maritime Governance in 21st Century Asia: Perspectives from Taiwan on Maritime Law and Regional Security”, in Taipei. Dr. Wu shared his observation on the new development in the South China Sea with a close look at US’s engagement, and provided recommendations on dispute management in this region. The conference was co-organized by Taiwan Chengchi University and the University of Cambridge, with scholars from UK, France, US, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and mainland China sharing their views on ocean governance in Asia.
