On 25 August 2015, NISCSS held an academic seminar on military activities and regional security in the South China Sea. Zou Keyuan (Harris Professor of International Law at the Central Lancashire University), B.A.Hamzah (senior research fellow at the Department of Strategic Studies at Malaysian National Defence University) and other scholars were invited to deliver academic reports. They held in-depth exchanges and discussions with NISCSS research staff.
