On 10 July 2014, Isaac B. Kardon gave a lecture at the NISCSS entitled “A Discussion of China-Vietnam South China Sea Contradictions”. Mr. Isaac is a visiting scholar of the NISCSS, a Ph.D. candidate at Cornell University and an affiliated scholar of the US-Asia Law Institute at New York University Law School.

     President Wu Shicun, Vice President Xi Jinsong and the NISCSS research staff attended the lecture and exchanged views on relevant issues.
