On 30 November 2016, NISCSS President Wu Shicun attended and moderated a round-table discussion organized by the Institute for China-America Studies in Washington, DC. The topics included China-US relations at the coming Trump administration and China-US cooperation in the South China Sea. The discussion was joined by scholars from think tanks in Washington, DC, including the American Enterprise Institute, the National Bureau of Asian Research, East-West Center in Washington, American Foreign Policy Council, and Stimson Center.
