NISCSS President Wu Shicun attended Track II dialogue in Tokyo

On 11 February 2017, NISCSS President Wu Shicun attended the China-Japan Track II dialogue on security in East China Sea in Tokyo, and delievered a keynote speech on the current China-Japan relations, territorial disputes and maritime delimitation disputes in the East China Sea, as well as crisis management in the airspace and on the sea.


Coorganized by the Sasakawa Peace Foundation and the Collaborative Innovation Center of South China Sea Studies at Nanjing University, this closed-door dialogue brought together representatives and scholars from the University of Tokyo, Osaka University, National Defense Academy of Japan, Shizuoka University, the JMSDF Command and Staff College, Japan Air Self-Defense Force, Japan's National Security Agency, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Nanjing University.


Deputy Director Yan Yan of the NISCSS Research Center for Oceans Law and Policy delivered a speech on maritime security and crisis management in East China Sea.
