NISCSS President Wu Shicun attended workshop on Indo-Pacific security in Singapore

On 8 March 2017, NISCSS President Wu Shicun attended the RSIS Maritime Security Programme Workshop on Thinking about the Future Maritime Security Environment in the Indo-Pacific in Singapore.

 

Wu held an in-depth discussion with other participants on Indo-Pacific security situation, factors influencing regional security and the functional cooperation between China and other littoral states in the South China Sea.

 

This is part of the closed-door workshops on maritime security organized by Singapore's S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), and brought together about 30 scholars and experts of think tanks, research institutes and government agencies from multiple countries, including the U.S., Australia, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.

 

Zhu Feng, adjunct research fellow of the NISCSS and executive director of the Collaborative Innovation Center of South China Sea Studies at Nanjing University, also attended the workshop and made a speech.
