Wu Shicun attended online symposium “Industrial Collaboration Among China, South Korea and Japan Under the Outbreak of Global Pandemic

On 2 April 2020, NISCSS President and the vice President of Institute of the Free Trade Port with Chinese characteristics, Dr. Wu Shicun attended an online symposium themed the “Industrial Collaboration among China, South Korea and Japan Under the Outbreak of Global Pandemic”. Dr. Wu delivered a keynote remark on acceleration of the regional cooperation among China, South Korea and Japan, constructing a regional public health mechanism and developing a maritime community with a shared future. The President of the China Institute for Reform and Development Chi Fulin hosted this conference.

 

This online forum was arranged by the China Institute for Reform and Development. Scholars and experts from Chinese Academy of Social Science, Peking University, Japan Economic Foundation, The Canon Institute for Global Studies, the University of Tokyo, Waseda University, Ritsumeikan University, Korea Institute for International Economic Policy, Chung-Ang University, Chung-Ang University, took part in this online seminar. During this symposium, experts were engaged in some in-depth conversation on topics such as “ Common challenges China, South Korea and Japan are facing due to significant impact on supply chains because of coronavirus ,” “To cope with the global pandemic diseases by enriching industrial collaboration among nations,” “To deal with the global pandemic disease by enhancing modern service,” and “to elevate industrial cooperation among nations by carrying out distinctive trade policy in this special period.”
