Regarding the latest on the cross-strait situation and the U.S. side's unreasonable chicanery, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Sunday again expounded on China's stance on U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to China's Taiwan region, stressing the U.S. side has made three mistakes.
Wang, who is on a visit to Bangladesh, pointed out the U.S. violently interfered in China's internal affairs. "The U.S., in disregard of China's repeated advice and warnings, was bent on arranging for the so-called visit of the number three figure in the U.S. government to China's Taiwan region."
Taiwan is not a part of the United States, but a Chinese territory, which is a public commitment made by the U.S. itself, he noted, adding the U.S. side's action is a grave infringement upon China's sovereignty.
