Putin vows harsh response to attacks against Russia, Kyiv condemns attacks during rush hour

Long-range missiles struck Ukraine's energy, military and communications facilities this morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a security meeting on Monday.
The attacks were retaliation for what he called Ukraine's "terrorist attack" against the Crimea Bridge. He promised a "harsh" response to any further such attacks.
Ukrainian officials have not claimed responsibility for the bombing of the bridge.
