"China is willing to join hands with Vietnam to promote their comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Xi Jinping said.

Vietnamese party chief Nguyen Phu Trong met with Xi's special envoy Song Tao in Vietnam's capital of Hanoi on Friday."
