"The 2016 US presidential election has attracted more attention than any previous elections. Clinton and Donald Trump are the most unpopular presidential candidates in living memory. The funny thing is that the two share surprising similarities. They are close in age and both attended elite schools. Both were once scandal-ridden. Clinton's husband was once the US president, and Trump's elder sister is a high-ranking judge. Clinton's father is of Welsh and English descent while Trump's is German.

Both are not at the first attempt to run for president. Clinton narrowly lost to Obama in the 2008 Democratic primary election. Trump floated for running for president in 1988, but didn't enter the race. He tried again in 1999, but dropped out. It is an interesting thing that they, with similar experience but different personalities, are both unlikable."
