Why India is reluctant to hold dialogues on Kashmir with Pakistan-China

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Geng Shuang said that China is willing to play a constructive role in improving relations between Pakistan and India in wake of ongoing tensions between the two countries on the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir on Wednesday.


However the Indian media quoting government sources has yet again refused to talk with both Pakistan and China over the occupied Kashmir.


"The conflict is occurring near the LoC in Kashmir. This will not only harm the peace and stability of the two countries but also peace and tranquility of the region," he said during his regular press briefing in Beijing when asked what role China could play to defuse tensions between Pakistan and India on Kashmir.
