PHNOM PENH -- Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Liu Yunshan met with Cambodia's acting head of state and Senate President Samdech Say Chhum on Tuesday, agreeing to strengthen bilateral relations.

"China and Cambodia are good neighbors, friends, brothers and partners," said Liu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.

The China-Cambodia friendship has stood the test of the changing international landscape and shown great vitality, and bilateral relations are at an all-time high, Liu told Say Chhum, who is also vice president of the Cambodian People's Party.
