Fox urges Brussels to avoid US trade war

Britain is calling on Brussels to step back from a trade war with the United States after President Trump imposed new tariffs on EU imports.
The US levied a 25 per cent duty on steel from the European Union, Canada and Mexico yesterday, prompting anger from governments and business leaders. Wilbur Ross, Mr Trump’s commerce secretary, also announced a 10 per cent tariff on aluminium.
The American move has prompted fears for the 31,000 Britons employed in the steel industry.
