At the invitation of the Center for Naval Analysis (CNA), President Wu Shicun headed a delegation to visit the United States. 
     On 30 June 2014, President Wu held a round-table discussion with officials and scholars from the CNA and the Pentagon about the evolution of China-Philippines dispute in the South China Sea, the nine-dash line, China-Philippines arbitration case, UNCLOS and its practice in the South China Sea, the South China Sea dispute and China-US relations.
