On 12-21 November 2018, the National Institute for South China Sea Studies, in collaboration with the China-Southeast Asia Research Center on the South China Sea (CSARC), the International Ocean Institute-Canada (IOI-Canada), and the China Institute of Boundary and Ocean Studies of Wuhan University (CIBOS) hosted the Fourth Program of China-ASEAN Academy on Ocean Law and Governance, in Haikou, Hainan, China. The ten-day program consisted of an intensive series of lectures, simulations, exercises, field trips and group projects. More than 30 participants attended the program, including government officials, scholars and experts from China and ASEAN countries.
