A delegation from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia visited the NISCSS Beijing Office on July 22, headed by Mr. Anang Noegroho, Director of Center of Analysis for International and Inter-Institutional Cooperation. President Wu Shicun met with the delegation. The two sides exchanged ideas on recent South China Sea disputes, cooperation on the development of the South China Sea resources, and the vision of reviving “Maritime Silk Road” between China and Southeast Asia. A letter of intent to establish an informal forum for discussing South China Sea resources management was signed after the meeting. 
 
Mr. Guo Haibo, Deputy Division Director of the Department of International Cooperation, State Oceanic Administration of China was also present at the meeting.
