On 12 April 2016, NISCSS President Wu Shicun was re-interviewed in Haikou by the HBO for a documentary on the South China Sea. President Wu further elaborated on various issues, including China’s claims over the South China Sea, Chinese land reclamation efforts in the Nansha Islands (Spratlys), the arbitration case initiated by the Philippines against China, U.S. Freedom of Navigation program in the South China Sea, and China-U.S. relations.
