On 1 July 2016, Dr. Tim Summers, a senior consulting fellow on the Asia programme at Chatham House, visited the NISCSS and held a discussion with part of NISCSS research staff on the current situation in the South China Sea, the influence of the UK's exit out of the EU on China-Europe relations and China-UK relations.
