On 19 December 2016, NISCSS President Wu Shicun met with Ms. Teresa Cheng SC, barrister-at-law and founder member of Asian Academy of International Law. Wu briefed the guests about the future and features of the situation in the South China Sea region and the two sides exchanged views on China's South China Sea policy, legal issues of the South China Sea disputes, and the situation in the East China Sea, etc.
