President Wu Shicun met with Brigadier General Carsten Rasmussen, Defense Attaché of the Royal Danish Embassy to China on 22 January 2018 in Haikou. Dr. Wu and Brigadier General Rasmussen exchanged views on various issues, such as the status quo and future development of the South China Sea, the US freedom of navigation operations, as well as the prospect of the Code of Conduct (CoC) negotiation in the South China Sea.
