On 7 February 2018, President Wu Shicun met with a delegation of Singaporean diplomats, headed by Ambassador Stanley Loh, at the NISCSS. Dr. Wu and Amb. Loh exchanged views on issues of mutual concern including the status quo and future development of the South China Sea, China-Singapore cooperation under the framework of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, as well as the prospect of the Code of Conduct  consultation and joint development in the South China Sea.
