NISCSS held seminar on “China threat theory”

On 12 April 2018, NISCSS held a seminar on how China should respond to “China threat theory”, and how the international community should deal with a rising China. Invited speakers included Paul Gewirtz, director of Yale Law School’s Paul Tsai China Center; Gordon Houlden, director of China Institute of University of Alberta; and Stephen Fietta, founder and principal of Fietta LLP. Speakers and participants also exchanged views on relevant issues such as China-US Relations and the “Belt and Road Initiative”.
NISCSS President Wu Shicun attended the seminar, along with visiting fellows including Liu Fu-Kuo, research fellow of Institute of International Relations of Taiwan Chengchi University, and Wang Kuan-Hsiung, professor of Graduate Institute of Political Science of Taiwan Normal University.
