On 16 January 2019, a delegation of three from the Washington DC-based BRG Group, led by its founding partner Ed Rogers, visited the National Institute for South China Sea Studies (NISCSS), and had a roundtable talk with research staff at the Institute. The two sides had an in-depth discussion about the current situation of the construction of Hainan pilot free trade zone and free trade port, as well as relevant policies and future development plan. Views on the future cooperation opportunities between the NISCSS and BRG Group were also exchanged at the talk.
