On 17 May 2019, NISCSS President Wu Shicun met with Oriana Skylar Mastro, assistant professor of security studies of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University at the NISCSS Beijing Office. Dr Wu and Professor Mastro had an in-depth discussion on various issues of mutual concern such as China-US relations, the South China Sea disputes and regional security.
