
The Workshop on International Law of the Sea and Maritime Dispute Resolution kicked off in Beijing

On 9 December 2019, the Workshop on International Law of the Sea and Maritime Dispute Resolution, co-organized by the National Institute for South China Sea Studies (NISCSS) and Fietta LLP, UK, kicked off in Beijing. The four-day Workshop covers a variety of issues of the Law of the Sea,such as UNCLOS, maritime boundary delimitations, marine environmental protections, joint developments, and international maritime dispute resolutions. About 40 participants from 17 ocean-related government agencies, universities and research institutes attended the Workshop including Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Transport, China Maritime Search and Rescue Center, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Nanjing University, Peking University, Tsinghua University, China Academy of International Studies, Shanghai Jiaotong University, China Institute of International Studies, Wuhan University, Dalian Maritime University, Naval Research Academy and Naval Commanding College.
