China urges U.S. to act on its trade concerns as ambassador meets Yellen

Chinese Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng on Monday urged the United States to address its concerns on economic and trade issues during a meeting with U.S. Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen, days ahead the latter's scheduled visit to China this week.
The two sides exchanged views on China-U.S. relations, and economic and financial issues at bilateral and multilateral levels, according to a statement by the Chinese Embassy to the United States.
Both sides said that the meeting was "frank and constructive," and agreed to maintain communication.
