As the global economy faces headwinds in the post-pandemic era, growing anti-globalization and trade protectionism, the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will return to the global scene in its first complete return to in-person exhibitions for the event since the onset of COVID-19, bringing fresh opportunities for global companies and instilling greater confidence in the world economy, company executives attending the event said.

The 6th CIIE has seen record attendance by top government officials and the world's top companies.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang will attend the opening ceremony of the 6th CIIE and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum on Sunday and deliver a keynote speech in Shanghai, the Ministry of Commerce announced on Friday.
