The international community condemns Japan's 2026 Defense White Paper as it is "reinvasion-minded," the official Korean Central News Agency of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said Tuesday, citing a commentary by an international security analyst.
Japan has set it as a "state policy" to negate its past crimes and realize its ambition to become a military power, while "putting spurs" to the tightening of the alliance with the United States and its followers, said the article.
It noted that Japan described in the white paper the DPRK and other neighboring countries as a "serious and imminent threat" and the "greatest strategic challenge," in a bid to justify its arms buildup.
