Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to the United States from September 23 to 25. During the visit, the two heads of state had in-depth discussions on the constructive China-US relationship of strategic stability and major international and regional issues, and reached eight deliverables and understandings:

1. The two sides agree to build "a constructive China-US relationship of strategic stability on the basis of respect, fairness, and reciprocity."

2. China and the United States support each other in successfully hosting the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting and the G20 Summit. The two heads of state intend to attend each other's meetings.
