"Visiting Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao on Saturday praised Turkmenistan's contribution to regional and international security and peace.

Li made the remarks as he delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of an international meeting under the theme of 'Neutrality policy: peace, security and the development of international cooperation.'

As the Central Asian country is celebrating the 20th anniversary of adopting the status of permanent neutrality, Li, on behalf of Chinese President Xi Jinping, firstly extended greetings and congratulations to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Turkmen people."
