"Tokyo and Beijing are arranging a visit to China by Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida before the Golden Week holidays to pave the way for a trilateral summit between Japan, China and South Korea.

Via teleconference on March 14, Kishida informed his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, of his intention to visit China, according to Japanese government sources."
