"Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Friday, voicing support for the work of the UN.

China is committed to safeguarding the international regime with UN at the core and upholding the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, Li said.

'China will actively promote dispute settlement through peaceful dialogue and negotiation, engage in international cooperation to address climate change and other global challenges and contribute to world peace and development,' Li said."
