"China will continue to participate in and support United Nations affairs, President Xi Jinping told UN secretarygeneral designate Antonio Guterres on Monday.

The UN should also carry out the 2030 sustainable development agenda and Paris climate agreement, and look after the interests of developing countries while helping them voice their opinions and assisting them, Xi said. The president noted that this year marks the 45th anniversary of the restoration of China's rightful seat at the UN."
