"U.S. President Donald Trump will call almost half a dozen counterparts from around the globe Saturday, among them Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, the first foreign leader with whom he met after his election.
The conversation comes just days after Trump formally withdrew the United States from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a vast trade deal encompassing a dozen nations that Abe has backed enthusiastically."
