We can solve all the world’s problems, says Trump after dinner with Xi

President Trump declared today that he and the Chinese leader could solve all of the world’s problems after receiving a lavish reception from President Xi.
“I look forward to many years’ success and friendship working together to solve not only our problems, but world problems,” Mr Trump said. “I believe we can solve almost all of them, probably all of them.”
Despite his remarks, the two leaders failed to announce any new approach to the North Korea nuclear crisis. However, they did announce $253.5 billion worth of trade deals, many of which are believed to have been negotiated long before Mr Trump took office.
