"Foreign minister Sushma Swaraj will visit China next week, days after an India-US declaration spoke of the importance of freedom of navigation and flight in the Indian Ocean and the Asia-Pacific, including the South China Sea where China is locked in territorial disputes with many of its neighbours.
US President Barack Obama on a three-day visit to India—mainly as the guest of India’s Republic Day Parade—also welcomed a role for India in the Asia-Pacific."
