Kim Jong Un hints he will discuss giving up his nuclear arms

President Trump said last night that a “peaceful, beautiful” path forward was possible for talks with North Korea after Kim Jong-un signalled that he would consider relinquishing his nuclear arsenal.
South Korean officials said that Kim had indicated that he would suspend weapons tests if negotiations began.
Chung Eui-yong, a South Korean envoy, said that a breakthrough had come after two days of talks in Pyongyang. “The North Korean side clearly stated its willingness to denuclearise. It made it clear that it would have no reason to keep nuclear weapons if the military threat to the North was eliminated and its security guaranteed.”
