South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in arrived in Pyongyang Tuesday morning for a landmark three-day summit with North Korea leader Kim Jong-un.
It comes amid diplomatic efforts to revive stalled denuclearisation talks between the North and the United States.
Moon landed at Pyongyang Sunan International Airport at 9:50am (8:50am Hong Kong time) on South Korea’s Boeing 747-400 presidential jet, after flying the so-called “West Sea route” from Seoul’s Seongnam Air Base.
