Amid rumors of illness, DPRK leader Kim Jong Un made his first public appearance in 20 days, according to the country's state media Saturday.
Kim was attending a ceremony at a fertilizer plant in Sunchon, South Phyongan Province, according to DPRK state news agency KCNA.
Kim was last publicly seen on April 11, presiding over a political bureau meeting of the ruling Workers Party. His absence from events celebrating the birthday of his late grandfather and DPRK founder, Kim Il-sung, on April 15 triggered speculation about his health.
