Chinese athletes won three gold medals and one bronze in three events in the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday.

Twenty-one-year-old Yang Qian set a new Olympic record of 251.8 points in women's 19-meter air rifle final to win the first gold of Tokyo 2020 for China.

"I thought I lost after the final shot. Then I saw everyone was cheering for me. Thar's when I realized that I won the title," said Yang after achieving golden glory in her debut Olympic Games.
