Lin Qi joined the National Institute for the South China Sea (NISCSS) as Assistant Research Fellow in June 2016. Prior to joining the NISCSS, he had been studied in China University of Geosciences at Wuhan, during which he mainly focused on the authigenic minerals associated with marine methane hydrate in the northern South China Sea.
